Twenty x HalfTheStory

Behind The Collaboration

“We live in an age where we’re more connected, yet disconnected than ever. Social Media is correlated to increased rates of depression and anxiety. Real connections start with real friends, in real life.”

Larissa May, Founder of #HalfTheStory

“Reports of loneliness amongst teens have increased 50% over the past 8 years because they are spending significantly less time with friends. Our mission at Twenty is to use technology to improve people’s social lives by helping them connect in person.  We are so excited to be partnering with #HalfTheStory to raise awareness for Mental Health and to shine a light on the importance of spending time connecting in real life with friends.”

Diesel Peltz, Co-Founder & CEO of Twenty

“Gen-Z grew up behind cell phones. Social Media has replaced real life interactions and human needs. It’s time to go back to the basics and revolutionize social media behavior: check out of our phones, check back in with ourselves, and prioritize community care.”
